The 26th of September, le Conseil Régional de Bretagne, owner of 4 airports in Brittany decided to award a 20 years concession contract for both airports Brest and Quimper to the consortium Rein Lusk.

Rein Lusk consortium*, is built around merging CCI Brest-Morlaix-Quimper (66%) with technical operators such as Egis-Transdev (10%), financial advisors Crédit Mutuel Arkea and Crédit Agricole and two institutional partners Brest’Aim and Quimper Evénements.

Brest airport, the gateway to the Far West of France, is ranked 17th in France with 1 million passengers welcomed in 2015. A quite well balanced traffic between business and leisure, a large number of operators and its manta ray iconic terminal fitted with modern equipment give the airport the impetus to reach 2 million passengers by the end of 2036. Rein Lusk was proposing a 46M € investment program covering both airside and landside. Both airports shall also comply to EASA certification criteria.

The double concession will start the 1st of January

This success strengthens E.A.O development strategy in France and its winning partnership with Transdev.
