Following various expert missions, axes of progress were identified and work started to fulfill the requirements of the certification, for example:
- Works to upgrade the facilities on the track.
- Establishment of a cell for the management of the Wildlife hazard
- Investment in human resources through the recruitment of technicians and the implementation of an efficient training policy.
This certification is the result of a successful collaboration and a combined and obvious involvement of all airport operators for more than 2 years.
Significant technical assistance work has been provided by Egis Avia and Egis Airport Operation as the AMO of the works and at the level of the design and writing of the databases.
ADL is proud to be the first airport in Central Africa to obtain the aerodrome certificate.
