The survey interviewed 13,140 users, at departures and arrivals, of the 15 main airports in Brazil in the months of April, May and June this year. In the overall passenger satisfaction, Viracopos reached 4.90, on a 1-5 score scale. The number is the highest rating ever reached by an airport in the historical series of the survey, which began in the first quarter of 2013. In previous surveys, carried out in the first quarter of 2017, VCP was among the 4 best airports in Brazil. Of the 38 indicators surveyed, Viracopos had an above-the-average rating in comparison with other airports in 35 indicators, ranking first in eighteen of them.
Items such as easiness to depart/arrive at the curb, feeling of security in the public areas of the airport, time spent in line at check-in and the careful assistance of Viracopos employees stood out in the survey. “The expectation is to offer even more facilities and good service for those who choose to travel via Campinas”, said the Director of Operations Mr Marcelo Mota.
Viracopos airport had already been acknowledged as the best airport in Brazil in the SAC survey of the last quarter of 2013, in the last quarter of 2014, in the first quarter of 2015, and in the first quarter of 2016. For the research, 35% of the international passengers and 65% of domestic flight passengers were interviewed in Viracopos
